Cancellation terms and conditions

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing by email to AIM Group International mpd2022@aimgroup.eu and will be subject to the following conditions:

  • 30% of cancellation fees until the early fee deadline (September 7, 2022).
  • 100% cancellation fees from the early fee deadline to the event (from September 8, 2022 and onsite).

Please note that any refund will be processed after Congress.

Registration conditions

M&PD 2022 is only accessible to healthcare professionals, associated press, and other stakeholders in the science, management, and prevention of cardiovascular disease. By registering, you accept that non-healthcare professionals, including children, will not be able to access the meeting. By registering you also fully accept all registration’s conditions as further detailed, as well as all terms and conditions provided in the General Conditions of Use of ESC Websites.

Data Privacy Statement

By registering to M&PD 2022 you are aware and accept that your personal data (first and last name, telephone number, full address and email address, time and duration of presence) is collected by the ESC to allow possible chains of infections to be later traced and contained.

The data shall be provided exclusively to the public health authorities in the case of a justified need.

The information collected during this registration process is necessary to provide you with an optimal user experience and networking opportunities during M&PD 2022.

Without this information, we will be unable to properly process your registration. During M&PD 2022 your activity will be tracked and collected by the ESC. This will be used for reporting and statistical purposes; to assist in enhancing your experience; to inform you about ESC activities in a coherent and adequate manner and provide you with personalized suggestions and recommendations of pertinent content for you to visit.

The recipients of the data are ESC Staff managing the registration process. The data collected will be kept for a maximum of 5 years after your last transaction or activity with us after which time you are My ESC account will be closed and financial transactions will be kept for a maximum of 10 years for legal accounting purposes. Additionally, please be aware that your profile information and details will be shared with the sponsor of the Industry Session, Tutorial, or Exhibition you choose to view. When accessing an Industry Session, Tutorial, or Exhibition, the following data will be shared with the corresponding industry: title, first name, family name, age, gender, county, city, email address, and profile information. In accordance with chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability. For such, please contact dataprivacy@escardio.org (be aware that proof of identity will be requested during the process via a secure web link).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and for information, ESC has appointed a Data Protection Officer that you can reach at dpo@escardio.org.

Applicable Law and Litigation

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with French law without regard to any conflicts of laws principles thereof that would require the application of the law of any other jurisdiction. Any disputes arising in relation hereto shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French Tribunal de Grande Instance located in Grasse, France.
